On Saturday, August 24, your Life 90.5 had a special opportunity. We partnered with the Wrightsboro Coalition of Churches on the Wrightsboro Community Block Party. Hundreds of children in the area were given free school supplies including notebooks, pens and pencils, backpacks and food items. Another item given was a small drawstring bag with the Life 90.5 logo and an encouragement card written by one of our many volunteers. Here’s a little footage of the event…
Those precious kiddos were well-prepared to begin their school year thanks to the gathering of churches in the Wrightsboro area who showed them the love of Jesus. Nearly 400 Life 90.5 bags were given out to students, providing a reminder of a local station they can access for uplifting and encouraging Christian music.
