Have you ever limped through a season when everything felt wrong? Things were a mess at work. Your family was enduring tremendous hardship. Your heart ached at the loss of a loved one. You wondered when things would get better. Maybe this very moment, you wonder when everything will be alright.
That all-too-common longing for “alright” is why a new song from Evan Craft, Danny Gokey and Redimi2 has resonated with so many listeners lately. Not only is the English and Spanish hybrid song “Be Alright” a top request among Life 90.5 fans, but it’s also climbing up national charts. The lyrics reassure the listener that God is in control even when their “world’s falling apart like it’s made of sand.”
Todo va a estar bien
Everything will be alright
The whole world’s in His hands
Your whole world’s in His hands
In the darkness and the trials
He’s faithful and He’s true
The whole world’s in His hands
Y todo va a estar bien
WHAT EVAN CRAFT SAYS ABOUT "BE ALRIGHT"

Artist Evan Craft wrote the song originally only in Spanish. However, the incredible reaction to the song made him want to release an English version with Danny Gokey. Here’s what he had to say about the song according to 55 Promotion:
I was writing this about a family member who was losing everything during the beginning of the pandemic and I was praying “God where are you? What are you doing?” I love that I can call out to the Lord and cast my anxieties upon him. So I really hope this song would reach you, that it would bring comfort and peace to you, that the Holy Spirit would speak to you through this song. I hope you remember that with Jesus everything will be alright.

GOD PROMISES THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT

The message of the song isn’t just wishful thinking. It’s a fact firmly grounded in the promises of God’s Word. Let’s explore a few verses together that’ll help bring even more hope to your heart today.
God Gives Peace
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
When every situation is making you anxious, God promises peace that makes no sense to the world around you. Everything will be alright in our own hearts even when they may not be in our circumstances. And it’s so easy to receive! Pray about it, thank Him, and let Him do His thing.
God Gives Grace
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
The Apostle Paul not only experienced shipwrecks and stonings as you’ll read about in the New Testament. He also was plagued with a “thorn in the flesh” that he prayed for the Lord to remove. However, while God’s negative response wasn’t what Paul wanted, God did supply the missionary with what he needed – God’s sufficient grace in his weakness. Friend, even when God says “no,” He still kindly and lovingly responds with the grace to endure it. Maybe that grace is found in a friend who will sit with you during the tough times, or a song you hear on your radio exactly when you need it. So keep your eyes open for how His sufficient grace makes everything alright.

God Wipes Every Tear
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
For some circumstances, “everything will be alright” might not happen in this lifetime. But that’s ok. This fallen, sinful world is broken and we will continue to shed tears over its devastating impacts. But God’s word tells us that our weeping will end as He makes everything new. It may be a long wait for everything to be alright, but it will absolutely be worth it.
Check out the hit song from Evan Craft, Danny Gokey and Redimi2 now and be reminded that indeed, one day, one way or another, everything will be alright because of Jesus.
