Thanksgiving Project by Myrtle Grove EPC | Church of the Week

This morning for Church of the Week, Jerry Cannon and pastor Stacey Miller joins Craig from Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Every year, the church conducts their Thanksgiving Project. What began as a way to give Meals on Wheels volunteers a long weekend has turned into an undertaking in need of more people to help. In just a couple of weeks they anticipate delivering about 1,000 holiday meals to people in our community.

Instead of having the same old Thanksgiving, you can make this year something special by being part of this incredible project. There are many ways that you can help. For instance, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, you can cook and prep meals. Or Thanksgiving morning, you could be a delivery driver. However, it wouldn’t be just a simple drop-off. It would be an opportunity to minister by listening and praying with the recipients. For more details on the Thanksgiving Project and to sign up, go to myrtlegrove.org/the-thanksgiving-project. As always, it was a joy to see pastor Stacey and Jerry, especially with his festive hats!
