Sam’s Top 3 | Top 3 Tuesday

Every Tuesday, we feature the top 3 favorite songs of either one of the Life 90.5 hosts or one of you listeners! Today, it’s Sam’s turn to share her current top 3. She’s been listening to Life 90.5 since last year and loves the mix of brand new music and some old favorites. Mandy Bowman is her favorite host, and not just because she happens to be her sister. 😉 Check out her picks!

1. “Alive” by Big Daddy Weave

“This is a song about my two favorite words in the Bible, ‘but God…‘ We were helpless, destined for destruction, dead in our sins, but God intervened!”

Ephesians 2:1-5 says…
“And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ.”

2. “Raise a Hallelujah” by Jonathan and Melissa Helser

“This is a reminder of what to do when life gets you down… PRAISE! No matter what kind of situation I am facing, I will raise my hallelujah because I know the King is alive.”

3. “Every Little Thing” by Hillsong Young & Free and Andy Mineo

“This song makes me smile and gives me reassurance that God is in control and He knows what He’s doing. In the midst of uncertainty, I don’t have to be terrified of the outcome. God is working ALL things out for good.”

Romans 8:28 says…
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Thanks, Sam, for sharing your top 3 current favorite songs! You can submit your favorite songs, too, and maybe you’ll be featured in a future Top 3 Tuesday!
