New Music from We the Kingdom, Natalie Grant, and Cory Asbury

Fresh Music Friday

Happy Friday, friends! We’re well into our hot North Carolina summer at this point in July. But we’re keeping you refreshed with some of the coolest new music from your favorites. This week’s Fresh Music Friday features new singles from We the Kingdom, Natalie Grant, and Cory Asbury.

We the Kingdom's "Child of Love"

Somehow managing to combine a new sound with an old feel, We the Kingdom delivers this gem. They grabbed our attention in late 2019 with “Holy Water,” and continue to draw our ears toward them with other singles like “God So Loved” and “Don’t Tread on Me.” However, it appears that was just the beginning of their invitation to delve into an intriguing vein of contemporary Christian music. With their new album to release soon, the band says, “These songs tell the story of our journeys these past several years, and it’s our prayer that they will connect with your story too.”

The debut album for We the Kingdom entitled “Holy Water” releases on August 7, 2020.

Natalie Grant's "Face to Face"

Delivering a song so perfectly timed for this difficult season in our world, Natalie Grant dropped the new single “Face to Face” just this morning. Her angelic voice walks the listener through a remembrance of how God has been her deliverer before leading us into a request for his presence.

My eyes have seen Your hand deliver
My heart remembers You
My help and my defender
My well runs dry
But I’ve known the taste of rain
So I’ll wait, I’ll wait for You.

On social media, Natalie notes, “When I think about all of this new music, songs we started writing over a year ago…God knew the timing for when we’d need them would be now.”

Natalie’s new album “No Stranger” (also including “Praise You in This Storm“) releases August 28, 2020.

Cory Asbury's "Sparrows"

Cory Asbury’s hit song “Reckless Love” took the Christian music world by storm when it released in 2018. It quickly became one of Life 90.5’s most requested songs and was included in countless church’s worship sets. After a year-long hiatus, Cory came back with “The Father’s House” which has also seen tremendous response. Dropped just hours ago, “Sparrows” is the official first single from Cory’s next album. In this latest worshipful addition, Cory reflects on how God cares for the world around us and how He takes good care of us. What a message we need to remember in this season of uncertainty.

Cory’s  upcoming album “To Love a Fool” releases on July 31, 2020.
