Happy first Friday in December! Your Life 90.5 is already a full week into Christmas music, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate Jesus’ birth. For this edition of Fresh Music Friday, we’ll be sharing even more of the latest Christmas music from your favorite artists. Check out a remake of a Christmas hymn with Tauren Wells, then two original songs from Cain and Chris Tomlin. Then do us a favor and vote for your favorite!
"O Holy Night" by Tommee Profitt featuring Tauren Wells and SVRCINA
You may have never heard of Tommee Profitt before now. That’s because he’s more of a behind-the-scenes person in the music industry. He’s an acclaimed producer who’s worked with artists ranging from Chris Tomlin to NF. Just recently, Profitt released a Christmas album entitled “Birth of a King” in which he worked with many different artists including Kari Jobe, We the Kingdom, and even Avril Lavigne. However, this song from the album combines the vocal powerhouses of pop artist SVRCINA and the one and only Tauren Wells. It proves to be an incredible collaboration that does justice to the Christmas classic.
"Celebrate Me Home" by Cain
The sibling band Cain exploded onto the Christian music scene this year with “Rise Up (Lazarus).” It quickly became a highly requested song on your Life 90.5. So it was a delight to see Cain release a brand new Christmas song, “Celebrate Me Home,” focusing on the joy of being home at Christmas.
Please, celebrate me home,
Give me a number,
Please, celebrate me home
Play me one more song,
That I’ll always remember,
I can recall whenever I find myself too all alone
I can make believe I’ve never gone
And sing me home

"Miracle of Love" by Chris Tomlin
This Christmas is a special one for Chris and his family. The award-winning worship artist shares the extra excitement of the season in a brand new song. Here’s what he said about it on Facebook:
“Christmas is about celebrating a gift from God, a surprise child for Joseph and Mary, a true Miracle Of Love. For me, it is another gift to be able to write a song about the surprise of our third baby girl and the parallel story of the birth of Jesus. As a songwriter, I felt so inspired and loved how each line of the song could have a double meaning. Hope you enjoy!”
