Wilmington’s Life Line Pregnancy Center has great news! They welcome Deborah Floyd as their new executive director. Plus, they are pleased to announce their annual gala! Client service director Noelle Cowell joins Deborah to share all the details:
What do they do?
Life Line Pregnancy Center is there for women who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. Instead of coercing or shaming women into one decision or another, they serve with love and provide many resources for women to use to make their own choice. For example, they provide pregnancy tests, option counseling, a mentoring program, baby shop, and an abortion recovery program. In addition to those services, Life Line also performs ultrasounds which are particularly powerful. After viewing the free ultrasound, women often see the baby as a person with arms and legs instead of the “blob of tissue” they had previously considered their unborn child.
How can you help?
Life Line needs your help to continue providing this hope to women in need in Wilmington. There are many ways to help, including becoming a liaison or financial contributor. For more details on these options, go to lifelinepartner.org. You can also help support their mission by attending their upcoming gala.
The annual gala for Life Line Pregnancy Center is scheduled for March 18th, 2021. Seating is limited, and times are 3:00pm or 6:00pm at the First Baptist Activities Center in Wilmington. If you cannot join in person, you can attend through their live stream on Facebook, YouTube and Life Line’s website. The guest speaker is J. J. Jasper, a comedian and best-selling author with a heart fort the unborn. To RSVP for the event, call 910-799-0270 ext. 106.
