Katy Nichole Encourages You to “Hold On” with New Song

In a world that often feels overwhelming, where storms rage and hope seems distant, we all need a reminder to hold on. Life’s challenges can test our faith, leaving us searching for an anchor to keep us steady. It’s during these moments that Katy Nichole’s powerful new song, “Hold On,” emerges, urging us to cling to Jesus with unwavering trust.

Verse after verse, Katy’s heartfelt lyrics resonate with those who find themselves in the midst of turmoil, offering a message of hope and a call to persevere. As we dive into the depths of her latest song, let’s explore the artist’s thoughts and encouraging passages of Scripture. As a result, we will be reminded of the unwavering support Jesus provides.

Regarding her latest creation, Katy Nichole shares,

I was going through severe depression and anxiety to the point where I reached for a bottle of pills one day. When I reached for that bottle, it fell on the floor. This song is talking about the day that God said, "Hold on, I'm not done yet." That moment for me was the reason that I am here today, the reason why I know that there is purpose in our pain, and the reason why I feel like I have such a strong belief and a faith in my God. He saved my life not just once but on many occasions. I still go through things sometimes where I need to be reminded to hold on. I really want to remind people that they are worth so much to our God, that there is a purpose in their life. That purpose has nothing to do with us, but everything to do with Jesus.

Hold On Verses

“Hold On” echoes the timeless truths found within the pages of the Bible, reminding us of God’s promises and His unchanging character. You’re invited to take a moment to be reminded of exactly who can hold on to and why:

Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Hebrews 10:23 – “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

James 1:12 – “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

In these verses, we find solace and encouragement to hold on. Our Savior is always by our side, offering strength and peace in the midst of life’s storms.
