Jeff’s Top 3 | Top 3 Tuesday

Every Tuesday, you have the chance to get to know your favorite hosts by discovering some of their favorite songs. Today, it’s Jeff’s turn to share the songs that are influencing him at the moment. Jeff Loman can be heard on Life 90.5 every weekday from 3-7pm, frequently making fun of his radio colleagues when they are conveniently not around to defend themselves.

1. God’s Not Done With You by Tauren Wells

Jeff likes this song so much because it reminds him of a passage of Scripture that he loves.

“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6 ESV

2. Dead Man Walking by Jeremy Camp

Jeff loves Jeremy’s story behind the song. Here’s what Jeremy had to say about it…

This album has been a journey. God has done so much in my life. I've been through a lot of things and He's been so faithful. I kinda had to go back in this writing process to all that God has done in my life. I've been sharing my story more and my testimony more, and from that has brought me back to a place of "look what You did, look what You started." And I was, I was born in sin and my trespasses, and you have made me alive and you've given me life and that more abundantly. This is a song of thankfulness, going "I was a dead man walking til I was a man walking with you." Jesus has made the life that I live full and abundant.

3. Defender by Francesca Battistelli and Steffany Gretzinger

Jeff recounts the lines in the song that are most powerful to him…

When I thought I lost me
You knew where I left me
You reintroduced me to Your love
You picked up all my pieces
Put me back together
You are the defender of my heart
