While Hannah is our Development Assistant and new mid-day host, she had never considered a career in radio until this past Valentine’s Day. She was happily working on adding to her ten years of experience with Chick-fil-A when God stepped in and presented the opportunity she never knew she wanted. When she wasn’t busy with Chick-fil-A, she filled her time with ministry. She has been a part of Reaching Hearts Women’s Outreach since the beginning when she was only three years old and took the organization over as its director eight years ago. With ministry being her passion, and after all the silent lunches she got in school as a kid for talking, there really was no better job for her than joining the Carolina Christian Radio family.
Having grown up in Wilmington, she was very familiar with Life 90.5 and even recounts listening to “Adventures in Odyssey” every afternoon on the ride home from school. Hannah says, “This job is really the culmination of all I’ve learned in my experience with Reaching Hearts and Chick-fil-A and the passion I have for ministering to those hurting and in need in our area.” Since starting, she has been able to create new channels of communicating with our listeners through the Lifeguard Kids Club and a bi-weekly newsletter to keep our listeners connected.
Hannah has a sweet and silly daughter named Lilly who sometimes appears in photos on Life 90.5’s Facebook page. Hannah loves the mountains and getting to escape with her family there to camp throughout the year. If you ever need something from her she is easily bribed with promises of iced coffee, Chick-fil-A, and chocolate.
