Wilmington School Prayer Walk at Various New Hanover County Schools

The School Prayer Walk at all New Hanover County Schools
Saturday August 26 from 9am-10am

It’s back to school time and with that comes my daily praying over my children in the drop off lines. This year, I had a vision of several parents, siblings, even community members, joining together at area schools to pray over the school/students/staff for the coming school year. We would love to have someone, anyone, everyone, at each school of their choice, simply praying.

Therefore, The School Prayer Walk is in the works (hoping this can be an annual thing)!! Saturday August 26 from 9am-10am, please go to your desired school and simply pray. Hopefully there will be others there as well. Come and go as you please, no need to show up at any specific time. No need to pray any specific prayers, let the Spirit lead you. You can pray silently, pray out loud, pray as you walk the campus, you can even sing praises if you feel called! It’s a very casual and open invite to simply come pray over these schools and kids and even teachers and staff. Please text Carrie at 910-231-1841 with your first name and school of your choice. I will send out reminder texts throughout the week and day before. This will also help me get a better sense of how many people to expect at each school. Can’t wait to see how God moves through this.

*ALSO PLEASE NOTE* I have cleared this with New Hanover Schools. They are fine with us being on school property; however, have asked that we do not try to access any part of the building(s) and no one is allowed on any playground equipment.
