David Crooks joins Craig Thomas on Life 90.5 for our ministry focus, sharing all the details on Christmas in the Country!
David and his team are thrilled to present this Christmas tradition once again. After working for months with light setup, it finally opens on Thanksgiving night, November 26th, 2020. In addition to adding even more lights to the drive-through light show, they also offer hot chocolate to visitors at the beginning for $2 per cup.
Christmas in the Country is an excellent activity for families and even church groups. Admission is $25 per vehicle. However, please note that trailers are not permitted and vehicles must be under 12 feet tall.
This annual tradition is open Sundays through Thursdays from 5:30 to 9:00pm, then Fridays and Saturdays ending at 10:00pm. While it begins Thanksgiving Day, it continues through the end of December. Located just 15 minutes outside of Wilmington, the entrance to the drive-through light show is found at 438 Rocky Point Elementary School Road.
