The Child Evangelism Fellowship is happy to announce new chapter in the Cape Fear region. Representatives Bob Fowler and Bill Hill join our Ministry Focus this morning to tell our listeners all about it. Plus, you’ll discover how you can get involved by attending an upcoming meeting.
The purpose of the Child Evangelism Fellowship is to proclaim the good news of the gospel by reaching kids where they live. It all started with mothers and grandmothers opening up their homes with snacks, then providing Bible lessons, songs, missionary stories. The vision of these “Good News Clubs” continues today.
In our world of COVID-19 safety restrictions, Good News Clubs have still been able to meet in the outdoors in places like mobile home parks. However, there are other options, such as online with video resources or closed Facebook groups. For more details on how to conduct these safe and social distanced clubs, go to cefonline.com/covid19.
The goal of the Child Evangelism Fellowship is for kids to have a deep understanding of their need for a Savior and how to receive Him. If you want to share the gospel to kids by hosting a Good News Club, please consider attending the training session this weekend. The session is at the Cape Fear Network (610 South College Rd, Wilmington) at 9:30am on Saturday November 7th.
To register for the session, please call Penny Cameron at 304-261-2141.
