It’s really about that… praising God anywhere, in and out of every season. Not only have I come to know the phrase obviously is what God is worthy of, but praise is a really powerful weapon. It’s a powerful tool as we go through storms in this life. You know, I found that praise may not change the storm, but it will certainly shift our perspective and get our eyes off of the waves and get our eyes on God. And this song, thinking back and just looking at all the blessings that God has poured out on us, we have so much to be grateful for. So I encourage you today, praise Him anywhere.
We want to give you the same encouragement today. Turn your gaze to your Creator, focus on the blessings, then spend some time in praise!

Around the time “Praise You Anywhere” was released, Brandon shared several Bible passages with the hashtag #praiseyouanywhere. He reminds us that praising God isn’t just a good idea. It’s something that believers ought to do regularly!
PRAISE HIM WITH OTHERS
Certainly we can praise Him on our own with Bible study and radio worship time (with Life 90.5, of course). That activity should be part of our daily routines. But we also need to praise Him with others.
“Then I will praise you wherever I go. And when everything gathers for worship, I will lift up your praise with a shout in front of the largest crowd I can find!” – Psalm 35:18
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise Him name.” – Psalm 100:4
“Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name.” – 2 Samuel 22:50
PRAISE HIM BECAUSE HE IS WORTHY
There’s also plenty of reason to praise Him. Even when our circumstances don’t make us feel like praising anything, God’s word still offers excellent reasons. We are to praise because He’s still good, He hand-crafted each and everyone of us, and he still comforts us in the difficult times.
“Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” – Psalm 100:4-5
