Last summer in Kenansville, Big Daddy Weave provided concert goers with an amazing night of worship. The band’s prayers filled the Duplin County Events Center long before their songs did, resulting in an evening that was much more of a ministry than a performance. They treated attendees to their new song “Alive” months prior to its release on radio and digital platforms, and the song is currently sitting at #4 on our charts. Now, we’re being treated to a brand new single, “I Know.”
The band delves into some tough topics of pain and unanswered prayer, highlighting a choice to praise God in the midst of it, because of what they know about Him. They fall back on truths straight from God’s Word, like how He is good and kind. Exodus 34:6 says, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.”
When we focus on the incredible truths about our God, we have so much reason for joy and hope in the middle of the darkest of circumstances. That’s how we can choose to praise Him no matter what.
Don’t miss Big Daddy Weave coming to Bolivia on Monday October 7! They’ll certainly be featuring plenty of brand new music from their album “When the Light Comes” which releases September 13, including this song and “Alive.” We hope to see you there!
