Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s time for another edition of Top 3 Tuesday featuring listeners just like you. Sharing her favorite songs with us this week, it’s 20-year Life 90.5 listener, Angela.
“I love Life 90.5 because I know the music and message will be uplifting and encouraging,” Angela says. “I also love it when my son tells me to ‘turn that song up, please.’ He loves For King & Country and Toby Mac.”
Your little boy has great taste, Angela. And so do you!
Check out Angela’s favorite songs right now, then let us know yours!
"Keep Me in the Moment" by Jeremy Camp
From Jeremy‘s latest album The Story’s Not Over, comes Angela’s first favorite. “Keep Me in the Moment” is full of reminders for her…
“It reminds me that I need to stay in God’s presence. It reminds me that his blessings are all around us. It also reminds me to be a blessing to others when I see a need.”
"God's Not Done with You" by Tauren Wells
Although released in 2017, “God’s Not Done with You” by Tauren Wells still holds special meaning for many today. Angela says, “It reminds me that my story is not over and God is always with me especially when I am feeling lonely.”
Social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic makes all of us feel extra lonely. However, songs like this do indeed deliver a sense of God’s presence. Angela’s next pick further addresses that loneliness…
"Together" by For King & Country
In this season of uncertainty, confusion, and social distancing, “Together” by For King & Country has been an anthem for many Life 90.5 listeners. Angela is no exception.
“It is a song about unity and community,” she says. “We need to help and love one another. We are in desperate times and I think a lot of people forget who is in control. All God asks is that we trust in his plan and to love our neighbors.”
Amen, Angela. Trust God. Love our neighbors. That’s how we stay together.
