Christians are not immune to the struggles of life, especially during this difficult year. With that truth in mind, a new show and podcast is beginning soon. Troy Peverall of Agape Counseling and Chris Sasser of Port City Community Church join us this morning about “A Voice of Hope.”
With a vision to speak into the lives of families and marriages, Peverall and Sasser also intend to use the show to touch on topics related to mental health as well. However, the starting point for addressing these issues will always be God’s Word.
“We all know we’re broken and we all need help. We can despair… or we can latch onto what really gives us hope.” Friend, Jesus is our hope.
Psalm 62:5, a verse at the foundation is this project, says, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.”
“A Voice of Hope” begins this Saturday, October 3, at 9:00am on our sister station, the Word 88.5. In addition to a radio broadcast, a podcast is soon to begin as well.
