I think it’s so important that we encourage one another. Especially in this day when there’s so many people dealing with stress and struggling with hardships and just overall responsibility from life. Life can be tough sometimes with fear and the uncertainty of not knowing what’s around the corner. I was just reading 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you’re doing.” So that’s what we’re going to do. In this blog post, we will explore three encouraging Bible verses from Joshua, Isaiah and Psalms that can strengthen you in your journey today. –Jeff Loman
GOD’S ENCOURAGING COMMAND

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9 Tweet
At times, fear and discouragement can paralyze us, preventing us from walking in obedience and facing the challenges that lie ahead. In this verse, God speaks directly to Joshua, reminding him of the strength and courage that he has in the Lord. Likewise, we are encouraged to tap into that God-given courage, knowing that we do not face life’s battles alone. The omnipotent presence of God accompanies us on every step of our journey, granting us the courage to endure trials, overcome obstacles and pursue our purpose with confidence.
In moments of doubt, remember that God’s command to be strong and courageous is not a mere suggestion; it is a divine decree. Allow this verse to echo in your heart and mind, empowering you to face each day with renewed resolve, trusting in God’s unwavering support.

GOD’S ENCOURAGING PRESENCE

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:2 Tweet
Life’s trials can sometimes feel like overwhelming torrents, threatening to sweep us away. During such moments, this verse from Isaiah reminds us that God’s protection is steadfast and unwavering. It reassures us that when we find ourselves in the midst of deep waters or walking through the fires of adversity, we need not fear or despair.
In the second of our three encouraging Bible verses, God promises not to let the waters overwhelm us or the fires consume us. This verse is a testament to God’s faithfulness and His commitment to see us through the most challenging of circumstances. As you face your trials, hold onto this promise, trusting that the Creator of the universe stands with you. You’ll make it to the other side as He provides a way forward.

GOD’S ENCOURAGING GRASP
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
Psalm 37:23-24 Tweet
Life’s journey is often marked by unexpected twists and turns, and it is natural to stumble along the way. However, this verse from Psalm 37 assures us that even when we stumble, we will not fall. The Lord is intimately involved in our lives, delighting in those who seek Him, and He lovingly upholds us with His hand.
This verse speaks of divine guidance and protection, reminding us that even when we face challenges or make mistakes, God is there to steady our steps. It offers encouragement, assuring us that our mistakes do not define us, and that God’s grace and support are always available to lift us up and set us on the right path.
